Meet our shipping methods

At BOTIEK we work a bit different than most jewelry stores. As we work with precious metals, we want to waste as less as possible. This is the reason we handcraft based on demand. It basically means we personally craft the pieces for your order and ship them directly to you from our jewelers. This results in a bit longer shipping times, however also for better prices, less waste. 

Free Standard Shipping (5-15 working days*) - This is our main shipping option. Secured and Tracked. Always free. Just takes a bit longer. Handled by your local carrier.

International Priority Shipping (2-5 working days) - Free above 150 euro (cost below this amount calculated at the checkout). Want it faster? This is your pick! When picking this shipping option we will handcraft your pieces first and ship them with either Express DHL or Fedex.

*This is an average. Depends on each country, please see standard shipping timetable here. Delivery, some countries take longer due to customs clearances and you should allow up to 25 days depending on the country. Please see below for the maximum delivery days for each country to see when you should inquire and raise a ticket with us.

Canceling

Can I change or cancel my order?

You can change or cancel your order within 6 hours of placing your order. 
Please send us your cancellation or change request within 6 hours of ordering.

Once your order has been sent out, your order cannot be changed or cancelled; please double check before placing your order. 

Delivery

Do I need to pay a customs fee?

No, normally orders using standard shipping will not be charged for customs fee. Express delivery services might require customs fee.

However, whilst we try to minimise customs fee for our customers, this is out of our control and varies from country to country.

If you have concerns, please drop us a message after you place your order with your order number (within 6 hours) and we will try our best to minimise the customs fee.

Oops, I entered the wrong address. What do I do?

If for whatever reason you have accidentally entered the wrong shipping address, please contact us immediately to change your details. If your item has already been shipped we CANNOT change or re-route your product and you WILL NOT be eligible for a refund. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all details are correct before purchase. We take no responsibility for orders placed to the wrong address.

If you have entered the wrong information please ensure you contact us within 6 hours if you wish to change it.

Returns & Exchanges

We offer a 14-day returns and exchange policy. Please contact us within 14 days with your order number, a brief explanation of why you are returning the goods and/or exchange details. 

We do not refund shipping fees for returns.

Please note we cannot refund or exchange earrings because of hygiene reasons. This policy is there for the protection and health of the customers. Please read our product description carefully before purchasing. Custom-made items are also not refundable. However, we are able to refund such items if it is faulty or damaged upon arrival.
